First days

As I arrived at Hongkong international Airport, there was absolutly no problem to get through immigration and easily I found the Airport-Hotel-Link bus which brought me to my hotel in Kowloon.

The room in this hotel was very nice, but also really small. After a few hours sleeping I had to go out and look for the headquarter of Kam Yuen, which is located nearby to my hotel. The weather was already in the morning very hot and humid so that I started to sweat before I arrived at the office.

After meeting every important person there, I picked up all my baggage at the hotel. Now I had to travel to Zhongshan, China with all my luggage on the ferry. Fortunately, there is always anybody of assistance to me, so that I'm not lost. Arrived in China, I wanted to cross the immigration, but at this moment, I didn't have any visa. So I got to go backwards to the visa office and buy one. After that I'm finnally in China. The driver which waited already for me brought me to my appartment, which I had to change already the next day.
After that I made my first visit at Kam Yuen production plant. What a huge factory! Everybody is nice here. They welcomed me very warmly. By the way, the weather isn't warm, it's hot!!

After some problems, I managed to connect my laptop to the network with assistance of some "Chinese IT-specialists", whatever you understand under specialist.

Unfortunately, I just have internetacces at work and not at the appartment. but any way, I'll be the most of the time in the office and not at home.

For god sake, there's always a bus and a driver around so that I never have to walk any far distance. The only problem with this drivers is, that they absolutely don't speak any english. That means I always depend on help of one of my english speaking colleagues at Kam Yuen.

Departure

The departure date coming closer. On 26 May in the evening I'll fly with Emirates Airlines from Zurich via Dubai to Hongkong. There I'll arrive around 10 pm on 27 May. The next day I've to be in office in Kawloon at around 9 am. So I'll see how many hours sleep I'll find in the hopefully great hotel nearby the head office of Kam Yuen in Hongkong, Kowloon.

Before departure, Hilpi invented for a few hours on the lake with his motor boat. Here are some interesting Pics und Videos: http://www.unsereferien.ch/hilpi/content-r15183.html

After this session of waterskiing and swimming I'm sunnburned and ready for the warm and stuffy weather in China.

So I look forward to my departure and the a hopefully great start in Hongkong.
